Set in the near future, where a new government order has divided society, Shiny New Things is a sci-fi digital series exploring power, vengeance, and sacrifice in an uncertain future.

In a world left decimated by nuclear war, “The Faction”, a new government holds power around the world. Vowing to “rebuild society,” they claim to “give new purpose” to survivors through specialized jobs. Jobs like the Perfect Day Initiative, a therapy replacement program that matches agents to a client’s loved one lost in the war. But things are not as they claim. On the surface, everything looks normal, except for the vacant looks on citizens’ faces and the armed guards patrolling the streets. 

When the children of families start to go missing and no real help from the Faction is evident, it was the last straw—and the catalyst that prompts the paramilitary group that’s sworn to take them down to jump into action.
